- Pre-Shipment, Pre-Loading Surveys: to determine the condition of the goods and its packages, whether it is complying with the sales contract or normal practices of transportation, before they are shipped or loaded into the vessels or other transportation vehicles.
- Agricultural Product Sampling: Involves taking a representative sample of the goods to check quality and specification of the product. The sample is sent to the laboratory for analysis or retained in storage for future reference if required. Sampling can be done manually or mechanically, depending on the type of cargo and in accordance with the International Standard Method applied.
